Politeknik Merimau was the 14th polytechnic set up by Malaysia Education Ministry in 2002. It is a multi-discipline learning institution which offers courses like civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, IT, business administration, tourism, etc. Today Politeknic Merlimau has an enrollment of more than 5000 students.
